This wedding was a little bit special. Family was central to the gorgeous event, with Rebecca’s daughters and sister as bridesmaids and her son as best man supporting groom Stephen. The King Street Townhouse in Manchester is quite a remarkable venue with a luxury boutique hotel feel, exciting features such as the glass terrace and rooftop spa and the most spectacular views over the city!
The hotel rooms were buzzing with activity when I arrived and provided a beautiful backdrop for photographs of the bridal party getting ready. The ceremony was the most romantic I have ever seen with hundreds of candles providing a soft lit intimate feel to the room. We then headed up to the rooftop for some group and couple portraits before a quick wander around the streets below, making the most of the stunning historical buildings. Finally we began the reception in a wonderful room with the huge glass terrace and more of those views. The love between not only Rebecca and Stephen but also between them and the children was so visible and made for an emotional and joy-filled day!
I have so many favourite photographs from this wedding but here are a selection for you!
